Halo Wars players will find an unfortunate surprise waiting for them when they login today. According to a post on the official website, a glitch has completely erased the online leaderboards.

Halo Wars" single-player, multiplayer, Trueskill leaderboards and matchmaking data has been restored to launch day status. Definitely bad news for the dedicated fans out there.

According to the post, Robot Entertainment is investigating the cause of the glitch, and will provide an update as soon as possible. They admitted that it"s "unknown if the data can be restored."
