If your PlayStation 2 console has the model number SCPH-50003 you may have experienced difficulties when using the DVD Region Free function of your PS2 Xploder V4 Professional. To solve this problem you need to download the following update.

PLEASE NOTE: YOU MUST HAVE BLAZE PS2 XLINK ALREADY INSTALLED ON YOUR PC FOR THIS FIX TO WORK. Once you have downloaded the Update, simply follow the installation instructions below. Enjoy the update!

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS Connect the USB cable supplied with Xploder V4 to both PS2 and PC Eject the PS2 tray and insert XPLODER V4 CD. Press RESET on the PS2. Insert a PS2 Memory Card with at least 710K free. Once XPLODER V4 is loaded and in MAIN MENU, double click PS2UPLOADER.EXE. After a few seconds PS2UPLOADER.EXE will upload DVD Region Free to your PS2 Memory Card. PS2UPLOADER.EXE will report it's uploaded the DVD Region Free and that it's completed. Installation is now complete. IMPORTANT: Make sure you do not have XLINK open on your PC before using PS2UPLOADER.EXE PLEASE NOTE: If you delete the DVD Region Free Update from your PS2 Memory Card, you will need to repeat the above installation process each time you want to use DVD Region Free function on a PS2 model number SCPH 50003.

USING THE DVD REGION FREE UPDATE (Only applies to Model number SCPH 50003) Eject PS2 tray and insert XPLODER V4 CD. Press RESET on the PS2. Insert the PS2 Memory Card with DVD Region Free installed on it. Once XPLODER V4 has loaded, enter MEMORY MANAGER / GAME SAVES. You should see DVD REGIONFREE appear in yellow in the MEMORY CARD PANEL. Highlight DVD REGIONFREE and press CROSS. After several seconds DVD REGION FREE should load. Use as instructed in the XPLODER V4 manual.
