Blaze Games confirms line-up for CES 2007

North American debut for Xploder Parental GameLock at Las Vegas show.

Blaze Games has confirmed attendance at the CES show in Las Vegas 8-11 January 2007 - Booth 72727 Gaming TechZone, Sands Expo and Convention Center.

A range of NEW Xploder Products will be demonstrated, the line-up includes:

Xploder Parental GameLock for PS2: The only system available to help parents and guardians protect their children from playing PS2 games that contain inappropriate content.

A combination of unique proprietary software and an innovative locking device (X-Lock), Xploder Parental GameLock ensures that no games with a rating that is higher than the age selected can be played. Once the X-Lock and memory card are in place there is no need to remove the device as the GameLock data is stored on the user’s memory card, which is locked in place, and accessed each time the PS2 is turned on.

In addition Blaze Games will also be showcasing NEW Xploder Media Management software for both Nintendo Wii and MP3 Players, including iPod and Zune.

Delegates will also witness a side-by-side demonstration of the unique Xploder HDTV Player for PS2. Since the Launch in New York earlier this year, this product has generated a lot of media and consumer interest; see the differences for yourself! View a direct comparison between standard PS2 output and the results that can be achieved using this revolutionary software device. Xploder HDTV Player allows gamers to play in Enhanced Definition and High Definition Modes on their HDTV set, there are also a number of VGA options available to allow gamers to play PS2 via their PC monitors.

The year-end report for video games held surprises as next-generation systems took a back seat to the old standbys.

With the imminent release of Sony's PlayStation 3 (PS3), news of the groundbreaking features of the console have begun leaking from press sources around the globe.

The contrasting fortunes of two of the biggest players in the global gaming market were underlined today when Sony announced a 94% plunge in profits for the most recent quarter, while Nintendo said its profits over the first half of the fiscal year had more than tripled.

Demand for next-generation console propels Xbox 360 through the 100,000 mark

Pink seems to be the new black. There's a glut of pink gadgets hitting the market right now, from the pink DS Lite to the pink notebook (not to mention a number of mobile handsets). So it's no surprise to see Sony getting in on the act with the launch of a pink PlayStation 2.
