Q: I noticed that it says you can save to SD stick, compact flash or memory card. Can I save files to a western digital external USB hard drive?
A: Yes you can. You will be given a choice of which device to use. Select the one that is best for you.
Q: Will this allow me to convert non HD movies into HD?
A: No. The HD functionality only allows you to convert your exisiting HD movie files into a format that is compatible with the PS3 in High Definition.
Q: Am I able to convert HD movies to be played back on the PSP?
A: No. The PSP does not support HD.
Q: Can I download game saves for my PS3/PSP?
A: Yes. The PS3 game saves list is constantly being updated with new saves. If you"re looking for a specific save and it doesn’t yet appear as a download, contact support.
Q: I am unable to convert and save VOB files on my PSP/PS3.
A: Make sure you have enough free memory on the storage device. A single VOB file is about 1GB in size if you have taken it from a DVD. Also, check to see if the DVD is copy protected. If it is, you will not be able to us it.
Q: I seem to have various problems when running your software.
A: We suggest that if you have internet access, you should use Windows Updates to update your version of Windows. Microsoft continually develops Windows to improve and fix various issues. We therefore recommend you keep your version of Windows as up to date as possible. If this does not resolve the problems you"re experiencing pleas contact Xploder Support.
Q: Will I get free upgrades to the software?
A: Major versions will be released as new products, but minor versions may be released for free as an upgrade at Xploder’s discretion.
Error code FAQs
Recommended actions for specific error messages:
Error Code 1002:- Password Failure
This means that you have already registered your email address but your password is incorrect. Check your login details. If you cannot remember your password, visit our website and click on the ‘Lost Password’ tab at the top of the page.
Error Code 1003:- Invalid Mcode (Product Key)
The Mcode is either missing, or wrong, or not authorised for this product. Either re-enter the Mcode details, and it still fails, contact Xploder Support.
Error Code 1004:- Signature Validation Failure
The software licence has become invalid for some reason. You need to re-register your Mcode with Xploder. Make sure you use the same details as before. If you wish to use different details, contact Xploder Support.
Error Code 1005:- Mcode is already active
The Mcode is active and has been associated with a different user account. Contact Xploder Support, as the Mcode is now invalid.
Error Code 1006:- Session Failure
Wait a few minutes and login again. If this doesn’t work, contact Xploder Support.
