As the proud owner of every Halo soundtrack to be released, I can say with much certainty that videogame music is great. Not all of it, sure, but some of it is good enough to warrant soundtrack releases digitally over the internet, if not on CDs, as well. Capcom believes that a number of its games are worthy of the soundtrack release and is working to release albums of seven games: Bionic Commando, Resident Evil 5, Street Fighter 4, Dead Rising: Chop Till You Drop, Dark Void, Monster Hunter Freedom Unite, and Spyborgs.
Pricing has yet to be announced, but we know that they will be available both at retail and online at Sumthing Digital and through iTunes. Release dates are to be announced "shortly."
Do any one of these games warrant a soundtrack or will you limit yourself to only listening while playing the game in question?
