The Pitt DLC for Fallout 3 played host to numerous bugs when it debuted on the Xbox Live Marketplace last Tuesday. Admirably, developer Bethesda Softworks reacted very quickly to replace the corrupted files, and by Wednesday everything was hunky-dory -- or was it?
As many of you noted in our comments last week, the updated download seemed to fix some of the more glaring problems, but users were still plagued by random crashes. Bethesda posted the following notice on their official blog this morning:
Since The Pitt went back up on Xbox LIVE last Wednesday, we?ve received feedback that some folks were experiencing freezing issues while trying to access The Pitt. We?re working with Microsoft to get a version of The Pitt up that corrects the aforementioned freezing issue. Once the content is up and available, we?ll let you know.
We"ll be sure to keep you updated as the situation develops. Until then, it"s probably a good idea to put your vacation to post-apocalyptic Pittsburg on hold for the foreseeable future.
