Sound wise the game is rock solid. The 5.1 Dolby Digital from the Xbox version keeps the room shacking and the use of surround effects is excellent. The voice acting is strong too, making the story of these soldiers all the more convincing. Brothers in Arms: Earned in Blood is another good solid outing for the series by Gearbox Studios. The gameplay finally lives up to expectation and the battles are really exciting now that the AI enemy puts up an intelligent fight. The game is also boosted by a good selection of multiplayer modes and an excellent skirmish mode, here a mini-campaign offers some exciting action-packed missions. It even includes the ability to play as the German soldiers. Earned in Blood is worthy of your time and one of the best first-person shooters available on consoles right now.
