The Xbox Live Arcade version of Peggle will be receiving an expansion this fall based on the PC sequel Peggle Nights. PopCap announced today that the expansion will be coming sometime this fall. It includes 60 Peggle Nights levels for both Adventure Mode and Multiplayer, Challenge modes, trophy rooms and stats, new achievements tallying up to 50 gamerscore.

It sounds as if the expansion will only be available as an add-on to existing Peggle owners, so if you"re a 360 player and you only want Nights you may be out of luck. No price has been mentioned yet for the expansion, but the game itself costs 800 MS Points ($10). It"s hard to imagine an expansion would be any more than that, and more likely it will be less.
