It wasn"t so long ago that Battleforge received a major price reduction, dropping to $29.99. Since then though, it"s dropped even further -- so far, in fact, that it"s now free to play.

Word has been sent via Twitter that Battleforge is now free to play, with more details available at Battleforge.com.

The installation client offers complete access to all areas and functionality of the game, including all of the content updates. Two decks of 32 cards are also included with the free version, and downloaders can play any scenario.
