Japanese publisher Level-5 announced this week that yet another new game in the Professor Layton series of Nintendo DS puzzley adventure games is in the works. Titled Professor Layton and the Mask of Miracles, the game"s due out sometime next fall in Japan.

Set after the events of the most recent title (Professor Layton and the Specter"s Flute) but still before ...Curious Village, the title will once again feature a broad variety of puzzles to solve as you advance through Layton and Luke"s adventure.

No further details are available at this time, and probably won"t be for a while, considering this is the fifth Layton and Nintendo"s only just gotten around to releasing the second in America.
