As far as first-person games on the Wii go, Metroid Prime 3: Corruption featured a pretty satisfying control scheme. That fact has evidently not escaped Nintendo, as they"ve just announced an upcoming compilation of all the previous Metroid Prime games for the Wii -- all of which will now be equipped with motion controls, widescreen presentation, and other additional features.
Nintendo plans on releasing the Metroid Prime Trilogy on a single disc on August 24, all at a suggested retail price of $49.99. Not a bad deal by any stretch, especially if you dug Corruption"s waggle control setup.
