Wii Name is RealDespiter rumours to the contrary, Nintendo has registered Wii as a trademark.Nintendo itself responded to the rumours saying it took a while for trademarks recently registered to appear in the system. Some gamers hoped against hope that Wii was just a big joke to be debunked at E3.
