There's boxing action on the way for PS2 and Xbox in the form of Ubisoft's Rocky Legends.

Rocky Legends will let players catch a glimpse of the back stories behind the events of Rocky's famous cinematic bouts. During the game players will see how Rocky Balboa. Apollo Creed, Clubber Lang and Ivan Drago rose through the ranks to become boxing champions.

Development of the game is being handled by Venom Games, a team that comprises several of the team behind the first Rocky game. Xbox Live subscribers will be happy to learn that Rocky Legends will allow you to batter one's friends across the interweb.

Expect to see the game jumping into the ring in Autumn 2004.
