This should help put to rest any questions of whether Halo fans would go in for a real-time strategy game. Halo Wars has now sold one millions units worldwide, with Microsoft calling it the "best selling real-time strategy game on any current generation console."
Among other handy statistics, Microsoft also said that more than 2.6 million multiplayer matches have been played, with an average of 200,000 players going online everyday. And all this without the ability to teabag.
Naturally, more Halo Wars content is on the way, as Microsoft was quick to remind us. It looks like updates will be coming courtesy of Robot Entertainment, which is comprised of Ensemble Studio veterans. Wonder what it will be?
